The mission of the Huron County Museum and Historic Gaol is to engage our community in preserving, sharing, and celebrating Huron County culture. This blog is one of the ways we do that.
The blog originally started as part of The Henderson Digitization Project, a one-year, grant-funded project to digitize a collection of WWII air training photographs. We’ve since widened the scope to include anything within our mission. Along with County history, this includes programming and activities at our four sites: the Huron County Museum, the Huron Historic Gaol, the Marine Museum, and Sky Harbour Gallery.
